Jason bought me the movie Brave on November 16, 2012. It is a great movie in and of itself, but it has lost some of its magic after watching it a couple hundred times. Austin has absolutely loved the movie and having it on would keep him occupied and un-fussy so that we could get a little bit of homework done during the semester. When he was younger and could just sit up (5-6 months old) he would watch the entire thing. If ever you blocked his vision of the screen he would do just about anything to see around you.
On one occasion Austin was very cranky and continued to be fussy when my sister, Stacie, came over to babysit. She put in Brave and told us that the only time he would stop fussing was during parts when music played. Now since he is far more mobile he gets distracted pretty easily, but will still watch when music plays and occasionally when there is an exciting part. He will also watch parts of other movies such as The Lorax, Finding Nemo, and Madagascar 2, but nothing captures him quite like Brave.
