It was the morning of General Conference which we listened to on our way down to Cabela's in Lehi. This was where we met the family that had our little 7.5 week old puppy. The family from whom we bought her (for $150) were from Nephi and the parents along with 4 or so kids came along. The kids handled giving her away really well - no one even batted an eye when she left which would have been totally different if they had been my siblings several years ago. When we put Izzy in the car, she was terrified and naturally one of the first things she did in was pee - thank goodness for potty pads.
On our way back home to Logan we stopped at my mom's in South Jordan and watched the rest of the first session of conference while my sisters and Stacie's boyfriend played with Izzy and my mom played mostly with Austin. Izzy also peed on the floor in the front room. After visiting my mom we went to North Salt Lake to show Jason's dad our new puppy. She didn't pee on their carpet, however, she did have a little diarrhea unfortunately. She slept for most of the rest of the day - I'm sure leaving her mommy and home really wore her out.
