Not a whole lot of change for the Snow family this month, but we did have a few fun, new, and exciting things happen! First of all we kick-started our debt snowball (we are Dave Ramsey fans) except we decided to visualize it in the form of a debt pizza. This last month we got to eat our first big slice (the tax return definitely helped!) and it is our goal to knock out all our debt within the next year to year-and-a-half.

We also kick-started some family history work! Prior to visiting the temple a few weeks ago, we looked up some of our family tree. What started as five minutes turned into several hours and a couple of days. The fruits of this time, however, consisted of finding 92 new ancestors to add to our family tree! It has been a very rewarding experience and very cool to strengthen our connection to our predecessors and learn we trace back to Uther Pendragon, King Solomon, and eventually back to Adam and Eve.
Our final bout of news is that Jason received a new calling at church. For those of you who may not know, a calling is an invitation from our Father in Heaven to serve in certain volunteer roles in the church to help build the kingdom of God on earth. In this case Jason has been called to serve as a counselor to the Bishop of our ward. While it is a large responsibility and pretty overwhelming, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve and for the blessings we have already received as a result.
