May 1 - May 31 Adventures

It has been a fun start to May so far. We were sad to have Aunt Cheril leave at the end of April, but excited that Aunt Alisa (or Aunt TT) could come visit for a few days after coming back from Jerusalem! Austin has absolutely loved the attention and spending time with her! While Alisa was here he got to play outside a ton, go to the park, visit Fontenelle Forest, watch The Land Before Time, and visit Lauritzen Gardens. We had a blast!

April 1 - April 30 Adventures

I am glad to finally get back to writing posts again! I love getting to keep track of our own family history this way. April was a super fun month and we were happy to begin it with General Conference. Using some help from online sources we were able to apply a couple of things to help keep Austin's attention during the eight hours of talks from our wonderful church leaders.

Happy Birthday Jason 2015!

Happy 27th Birthday Jason! First thing the morning of his birthday, Jason took Austin to Krispy Kreme to pick up donuts to share with Jason's research lab group. Of course Austin got a donut and a cool new hat.

Happy Easter 2015!

I love Easter for several reasons - foremost for the opportunity to focus on our Savior, Jesus Christ and His Atonement and resurrection. I also love that it typically involves family and competitive Easter egg hunts and that it falls near the start of Spring when the flowers and trees begin to bloom and the birds begin to sing.

February 1 - March 9 Adventures

Not a whole lot of change for the Snow family this month, but we did have a few fun, new, and exciting things happen! First of all we kick-started our debt snowball (we are Dave Ramsey fans) except we decided to visualize it in the form of a debt pizza. This last month we got to eat our first big slice (the tax return definitely helped!) and it is our goal to knock out all our debt within the next year to year-and-a-half.

January 1 - February 1 Adventures

It has been a great first month of the new 2015 year. Jason and I had our 4th anniversary on January 7th and I am still so blessed to be married to such a wonderful man!

After a nice long Christmas break, Jason and Austin started back up with school on January 12th and Austin moved up to the transition class (ages 2.5 to 3). The transition class prepares the kiddos for preschool (starting at age three) for which they must be potty-trained, therefore guess what we have been working on! Thankfully we have many pairs of underwear to handle the 3-5 undie changes we go through nearly every day. Austin (with the help of chocolate and other treats) is learning fairly quickly how to go in the toilet.

Happy Easter 2014!

Happy Easter to everyone! I love having holidays that serve as reminders of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and am grateful to know that he has been resurrected and has made it possible for each of us to be resurrected too. I also love that holidays give us the opportunity to spend time with family. This year our Easter weekend with family was split into two distinct parts.

Happy Birthday Cami!

In the midst of finishing up and finalizing my thesis, my husband and family managed to make my birthday the best one yet! I was able to NOT work on my thesis and instead take it easy, which was super refreshing given that I have been spending 8-12 hours per day working on my thesis, finishing up classwork, and preparing for seminar and conference presentations over the last couple of weeks.

January 26 - March 6 Adventures

So we have had a lot going on over the last several weeks and have a lot of great updates that we'll split between a couple of posts.

Happy Valentine's Day 2014!

Our Valentine's Day this year was fantastic! We got Austin his first little Valentine's Day gifts - a tradition that our parents started and we want to continue. Jason let him pick out a little toy car (which happened to be Valentine's red) and I took him to pick out a Valentine's Day balloon. Austin also got some awesome gifts from his Grandma & Grandpa Hunter and aunts.

October 23 - January 26 Adventures

FINALLY I got around to posting another family update - it has only been three months since the last one. Since so much has happened between October 23rd (including several major holidays) I have decided to highlight Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas in their own posts.

Happy 3rd Anniversary!

Just wanted to throw a shout-out to my amazing husband Jason! Yesterday, January 7, 2014 marked our 3rd wedding anniversary and we are still loving life to the fullest!

Merry Christmas 2013

Merry Christmas to all! This year we had a wonderful Christmas. We started off the season with a couple new family traditions including picking out a real Christmas tree and reading The Christmas Carol every night in the month of December and finishing on Christmas Eve. We spent the actual Christmas holiday in Prosper, TX with Jason's family and then followed up celebrating Christmas in Utah on New Year's Day.

Gotta Love College Football Season

Austin has been attending football games practically since he was born - his first one at 2-months-old. Since college football season this year just recently ended and we will be moving at the end of this school year, I wanted to post a little photo tribute to our USU football experiences.

Happy Thanksgiving 2013

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! We can all use a reminder to be more grateful in our lives. This year we spent Thanksgiving with family in Utah.

Happy Halloween 2012 & 2013!

So I know I'm a little late in posting this, but I just wanted to say Happy Halloween! Austin's first two Halloweens have really been a treat and I'd like to share a little bit about each of them for old memories' sake.

September 24 - October 22 Adventures

Austin was a SUPER STAR Sunday! He got to participate in his first Primary Program where nursery-aged kids get to share what they learned at church. Normally they only allow kids that are 18-months to 3-years old to be part of nursery, but since there are currently only two eligible kids, Austin was invited to participate in the program because his 18-month birthday falls before the end of the year.

August 20 - September 24 Adventures

Hooray for school! Actually, the reason there hasn't been a post in a while has been primarily the result of Jason and I having started the semester. Between this and the last post, we have had several eventful happenings in addition to the start of school including family pictures, college football games, running and Austin just growing up like crazy.

August 11 - August 20 Adventures

Austin is walking EVERYWHERE! There is definitely no stopping him now. He really took off with walking (more than the occasional few steps) about a week or two ago and now it is becoming pretty uncommon to see him crawl. He also really understands so much of what we say and will often help me open and close the microwave and press the start button when we are warming up his milk and will also throw things in the trash or return to our line of sight when we ask him to.

July 31 - Aug 11 Part 2: Back to Normal Adventures

Part 2

Back to Normal: Logan

Once we got back to Logan, things resumed back to normal for the most part. Here is a quick chronological outline of the last week and a half or so (because we know you all missed knowing all the little details of our life...) :
